New Items for the Shop

Good Tuesday Afternoon Hookers!

Whew life has been busy for sure lately - been producing new stuff for my display at Impact Nutrition on a weekly basis trying to make sure there's enough summer items on display.

So in the last week I've worked on two items to add to the display

A new baby Elephant

I have made this pattern before, but this time I opted for a smaller hook and she stands all of 8" tall!

And then I decided to make a market bag after some suggestions from the wonderful ladies of RepeatCrafterMe - this time I added a button closure and a lining! Super happy with the results

No real pattern used here, just sort of went with it!

Anyhew, that's what I've been up to lately - how about ya'll?

How is Everyone this fine Wednesday Evening?

Been busy at YTA Creations lately! I've joined the Repeat Crafter Me Facebook Group and have been inspired by those wonderful ladies to learn so many more things!

There's a Crochet-A-Long going on right now to assemble (9) different C2C Graphs into an Afghan for Christmas, I've started the 1st one, Santa and it's coming along nicely, not going to post an in process pic, but here's the Graph

So once he's done it's onto the next and so on and so forth until he's finished!

In the mean time I was inspired to also try a Bobble Square and here's the final result

My Mom asked for a heart square and we decided on fall colors! Isn't it pretty?! Thinking of doing more with another one...but shhh...no decision's been made quite yet

I also wanted to show-off another Elephant I made!  A former co-worker of my hubby's has requested this Elephant and a Panda Bear to be made!

So that's where I'm at! I also have on order and in process a baby blanket set, so in between all of the above I've been working on that!

Wanted to drop in pics of my newest creations!

This little lady was my 2nd Etsy Order! My author-employer ordered her for her partner for Christmas, isn't she the sweetest! WOW I went through many ups and downs trials and re-trials before I settled on the crochet eyes, preferred them over sewing the eyes on

And then the same lady who ordered the baby set and the other grey elephant asked me to make her a bag and while I had made one previously for myself after a couple of uses its stretched so much I need to run it through a dryer and shrink it bag down, so I altered the pattern to a one row HDC to one row of DC and lowered the gauge of my hook and I believe this one will hold a lot better!

Baby Layette Set is Completed + Another Etsy Order!!!

Good Friday Evening Crocheters!!!

It's been a busy day for YarntoAfghanCreations!  I finished the baby layette set last night (minus the blanket, that's still a work in progress) - adding the buttons, check it out!!!

Isn't it the Sweetest?!?! The person who ordered it LOVES it and that is what is most important!

The next things to get done are the blanket (like I've said) and a Animuguri Teddy Bear.  I have a couple patterns I've been looking at, so once I grab the yarn for it I'll get to work.







Also like I said I got another order to my Etsy shop Today! My wonderful Author-Employer/Friend ordered an Elephant for someone special in her life! I can't wait to get started on it too!!!  Super Duper Excited People!!!! Can you tell!!
